Akael, a young herbalist, tries to survive in a world divided by man and beasts. One day, while searching for a valuable plant, he’s attacked by a monstrous beast and forced into the forbidden Ever-long Forest. Lost and near death, AKael is “saved” by Zan, a horned-creature native to the forest. Urging to go back to his home, Zan agrees to help him, which quite coincidently causes them to form an alliance.
