When Riley Ashby was traded to the Chiba Tigers for a fire slinging southpaw he thought he had been sent to baseball hell. To get out of Japan and back to the states he knows he has to keep hitting. Thousands of miles from home he makes friends with a couple of waitresses at his local coffee shop, because they speak English.
