The moon is blind, so she sends her children to look after Earth. They are there to observe and care for humans. They are given powers to make this easier. But, what happens when they defect? The blood witches are a clan of moon children blending in with the locals. Deemed witches, they have thrived in the local empire of constantly feuding clans. Like any group, however, they do have enemies.
