It was a starry night when the house of the noble Watlings is attacked by a gang of pirates. Looking for a treasure map, which in the end turns out to be unreadable because nobody speaks the language in which it is written. Only Stella, the daughter of the wealthy Watling, is able to translate the map. To her sorrow, she is then dragged onto the pirate ship and is forced to lead the gang to the treasure they hoped for.
