Vanitas Subitum is a monster. But more than anything, he wishes to atone. In his search for redemption, he isolates himself in his manor and stands vigil over an bloodthirsty abyss. In his isolation, the town in his care crumbles and slowly runs out of resources as his standing among the other lords in the country falls. In the hope of revitalizing his town, he agrees to marry and form an alliance with a prosperous city of trade. But can he cope with the danger of opening his heart?
