Hero and Alto, former friends turned rivals, are on their last year of school training to be aviators- a fancy term for "ghost hunter." The two are unexpectedly paired up for their Final Year Expedition, wherein they will have to traverse the lands of Golden Kingdom together, cleansing spirits and honing their aviation skills. As the two attempt to overcome their resentment towards one another, they rediscover something about themselves that they've hidden deep in the past.
