Yen is dreadfully enduring her final week as a princess. The date of her arranged wedding is approaching and the life of a queen seems less than thrilling. After sneaking out of her castle and bumping into trouble, she's saved by Bo'ron, a gentle giant that she swears she's met before. He seems to loathe royalty but is quick to take up an offer by Yen's father. A reward of gold persuades Bo'ron to keep Yen safe until she's married, but Yen isn't the only one overcome with a sense of familiarity.
