The story takes place in a society where every 20 years, almost everyone changes into stone. To overcome that, there is a unit of professionals that (with special protection that prevents them from being transformed) can change people back into humans by pressing buttons under the sea. But everything gets messy when the transformation happens 1 year early... Lena wakes up as one of the only survivors. She is worried, but she would be terrified if she knew what awaited her...
