When Grace is the sole survivor of a horrific accident, she wonders if she is cursed. The now orphaned girl is taken in by her distant relations that are nothing more than strangers to her. But there she finds her only solace: Mercy, the daughter of her new 'family'. The cheerful girl breathes life back into Grace and makes her almost forget about her curse. But the curse has certainly not forgotten about her.
