What happens when your origin doesn't turn out the way they show it in the comics? A group of would-be superheroes - including an archaeologist with a suit of alien armor that doesn't work on humans, the really-smart-but-not-super-genius daughter of veteran heroes, a human criminal database, a werewolf who's only super three days a month and a psychic violence beacon - in the Cleveland area meet together to work through their struggles and help each other figure out what the heck they're doing.
