Five years after demonic gates tore the world asunder, humanity has still yet to recover. In an attempt to regain some semblance of normalcy, the governments of the world erected sanctuaries in the cities that still stand. Louis is a survivor of the hellgate event, and is struggling to recover from what he has seen. Accompanied by his "Sibling" (A young demon named Silou) He goes about his normal life, working a dead end job, barely getting by.
