(Trigger warning: Eating disorders) "It's just as hard being Ken as it is being Barbie." Darl, 17-year-old high school drop out, never experienced a sense of security, not with a dead mom and an alcoholic dead-beat father. Forced to forgo his schooling and raise his younger sibling Ari, Darl's taken on the role of a father, but, being a hardworking adult isn't exactly easy on a teenage mind. The only semblance of control in his life is his eating habits.
