Craig and his parents had just moved in to a new rural neighborhood. There, he meets a stray dog. In fear and disgust, he attacked the animal in hopes of getting it to go away. It eventually retreated with a severe wound, but unbeknownst to Craig, someone else was watching him in the distance and decided gave Craig a taste of his own medicine.
