In the year 1873, a team of scientists set up their headquarters in the town of Feyville, so that they might investigate a legendary portal to other dimensions. While establishing their headquarters, they encounter a troubled young woman who is secretly a werewolf. They use their knowledge of science to help the young woman, but are unable to cure her completely. They find that her brute strength is a valuable asset as they travel to unknown realms through an inter-dimensional portal.
