On a trip to gather supplies, an Intuln Eletal on the surface of her planet gets the news that the interplanetary war that has wrecked her home for generations has ended. Throughout the story, she comes to terms with this new, and hopefully safer, reality and what it means for the world around her and people on both sides of the war.
