Before anyone is born, they are spirits. When they are made, spirits can either be a person, animal or thing. They don't get to choose though. It is best advised you don't become friends with anyone in the spirit realm because when you are made, you have no idea of the spirit realm. The only way to remember is to find your spiritual friend and spend loads of time with them but is highly unlikely you can find your spirit friend in this world...
