Zale Corbyn, a detective from the Criminal Anomalies Unit, is tasked with the investigation of a series of seemingly uncorrelated deaths across Scotland. Their only connection: the testimonies of people having been in contact with the bodies, each reporting disturbing experiences shortly afterwards. He eventually is led to a peculiar church in a small coastal town, of which he will try to uncover the mysteries while mental illness thins the line between reality and... the rest.
