“Who were you? Were you a good man, a bad one, or something in between, as most people are?” After life ends and before the afterlife begins, there is The In-Between: an infinite library that contains the memories of every person who has ever existed, living or dead. Set in the In-Between and a town in Maine in the 1970s, SPINES investigates the events leading up to the deaths of a failed musician, a strange woman named Lydia, and a mysterious man armed with a butcher knife.
