The goddess of destruction determines that the universe isn't balanced and that the only way to set it right is for a few of the planets to be destroyed. However, not enough of the gods are willing to give up the planets that belong to them. As a result, the game 'space-soccer' was invented in order to give each planets it's chance to survive. the goddess of earth, fearing that she had made her planet to weak, lowered herself, and the spirits that served her, into human forms in order to play.
