Thousands of years after the sudden destruction of the earth and moon, humans have settled in space using an energy source with unusual properties. But space is not as empty as they thought: many alien species live here, with which humans soon ally themselves, forming an intergalactic alliance. A young spaceship pilot and a mechanic find themselves in a difficult situation that will lead them to make choices that they may or may not regret.
