In this world, demons naturally reside within the souls of humans. Using the power of these demons people can create Dama, an energy that is great in combat. Kan is born without a demon causing him to be powerless, with his hard work and special genetics he is able to keep up with those with Dama causing him to be seen as a freak, Kan sets out to rid the world of evil except he has know intention of actually protecting people.
