They just wanted a nice vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Mom wanted to find her reason for smiling again. Sometimes wishes are better left unsaid. (Smile was originally published years ago, because of this it reads left to right. Smile was one of my first ever published short stories and has a lot of flaws, but I think its important to show those flaws as well. I will always be grateful for this little creepy story for starting my manga career)
