Located in a 1980 remote town back in Milwaukee, Harstead is a town beloved by many of its residents. Things might seem normal at first for the group until they discovered that there are weird and ghastly supernatural occurrences taking place under the curtains. The Smiley man is believed to be a popular rumor amongst those who live there. Hanging out at diners, and ensuing chaotic teenagers like Alice Dhorty, Ether Smiths, and Alessia Winters who might perhaps know something deeper than that?
