I know a lot of this stuff is me-specific - obviously not everyone who has hyperfixations makes fan comics about them - but I still wanted to put something out there for any of my neurodivergent readers who have gone through the experience of mourning a lost interest. I understand this experience is far from rare, but not really talked about - and it matters a lot, at least to me.
