Two misfit teenagers seek out the secrets of the merfolk around the globe and collect magical shells that grant different abilities. Together, they face the trials and tribulations of taking on such a task while juggling their personal lives and relationships. However, little by little, an underlying threat that had been waiting for the perfect moment to strike slowly rises to the surface. (Start at ep 3)
