When a monster from the woods follows Zonnella into the village and breaks its protective heart she must survive within the woods it came from. Meanwhile her mentor tries to find a way to save the dying flowers that protect the village from the poisonous effects of the slime, while discovering buried secrets. No matter how, they all must try and survive in their own way, knowing that the world they used to live in is dying.
