A man with amnesia wakes up on a swamp with his hand missing. A mysterious hooded character with a "Shard" sees that it's drawn to the man. The hooded character puts the "Shard" besides the man which inserts itself inside his ripped of arm and fuses with it. When the man sees that he's very surprised even more surprising is the hooded character disappearing into the air. When the man sees that he runs away heading to a weird hut.
