A new transfer student quickly befriends everyone, but the protagonist feels something is wrong. She hears whispers near the student and suspects she’s hypnotizing others. After seeing her with a blood-covered saw, the protagonist believes she’s killing dogs. When dog kidnappings are reported, she tries to warn people but is bullied. She follows the student into the woods, sees her killing dogs, and attacks in rage. The police arrive, arrest the protagonist, and reveal her mental instability.
