There are three shades who rid the world of black, tainted hearts. These three; the lure, the trap, and the eater; they work together to ensure the safety of many human beings by devouring the tainted hearts. But how are they supposed to deal with the one man who escaped their grasp twelve years ago? How can a single human man be able to survive the work of the shades when they've never failed on anyone?
