Shackleberries are unique berries that only grow during full moons during the summer. They collect the moon light and use it to enhance their curse. If one is to destroy a berry (by eating, smashing, throwing, etc.) the berry will send the human in a cursed form to an enchanted forest. The curse turns humans into animals, usually their favorite animal, sometimes random. Really it’s the berry’s choice. No one knows who made the shackleberry came to be, and hopefully we never will.
