When a miserable office worker’s unfulfilling life comes to an end, he finds a different job waiting for him in his afterlife, taking care of death’s “little friend”, Sene (not Sean) as they are sent upstairs. He is resurrected and must come to terms with his new form, but his past life and the people within it won’t let him escape that easily.
