When Liz finds an unconscious girl on the beach near her house, she has no idea that she's a selkie who lost her seal pelt when she was hit by a massive wave. When Aurora wakes up in a strange place without any idea how she got there, or where her seal pelt is, you can imagine she'd be startled, and during her search for her pelt, she comes to love her new friend.
