The young and snarky Scarlett finds herself escorting her lifelong friend back to the safety her family in the middle of a 7-year-long civil war. Having enjoyed years of peace away from the fights, Scarlett's torn between leaving with her best friend and staying behind to watch over her hometown from the looming shadow of war threatening the land.
