This is a story about how my friend whom I will name "Emi", this is what she named herself in my presence, though it is well known this wasn't her given name. She's gone now, I do not know if I will see her again, I tell this story to keep her alive, her and not the woman my people came to know her as. I tell this story lest I lose her to the myth fast surrounding her.
