Levi is an ex-military captain, once employed by The Gilded, now a fugitive in his homeland as he searches high and low to find a place where he and his beloved little sister, Rua, can safely call home. Along the way, both siblings will have to learn how to adapt to the unpredictable powers of the four ancient runes that dominate their society; the most powerful of which is imbued in Rua herself.
