Creator
I feel like this is a struggle as old as time for many writers. I guess sometimes it’s intentional, like if your protagonist is supposed to be a kind of blank slate or audience self-insert. But as a reader, my favorite characters are almost never the mains, and this becomes an issue when I try to write. Nothing wrong with a good supporting cast, though :)
