When a witch breaks all the rules to practice dark magic in secret, she finds herself in need of a decoy Familiar. Trained in the art of amplifying the magic of a witch or wizard, animal Familiars are able to change from their true form to human form at will. As an ordinary koi fish, Petal has no such ability, and she did not sign up for this being-human predicament. With the help of a charming Sparrow Familiar, Rowan, she’ll embark on a quest to break the spell and return home to her pond.
