When a water nymph accidentally forces two girls into begrudging magical girl-hood under order of its queen, they discover that life as a magical girl may not be quite as peaceful as it seems. With a missing magical girl, a useless sidekick, and the threat of a millennia-old secret looming over them, Candy and Ai are going to have to put aside their differences and find out who they can truly trust if they want to get out of this alive - assuming they don't cave under the pressure first.
