Princess Khurshid knows all too well how despised she is among her tribe, just as her mother and younger sister are for their non-Pashtun descent. Her fraternal twin sister, however, is beloved, as she has their father’s Pashtun features. So when Khurshid’s younger sister Arghawan runs off, the last thing Khurshid could expect is the onslaught of an invading army. Khurshid must now face her tribes’ dislike for her during this crisis and find her sister before both are lost to their enemies.
