Ash the Cyndaquil sets off on a journey to join Team Champion, the highest ranking Exploration team in Johto, in hopes of providing his niece the best life he can. Along the way, he faces many obstacles and meets many new friends on his journey to Team Champion's Leader Lance, whose home is across the region all the way in Blackthorn.
