Benjamin Wonderwood's entire life changes after the death of his wife - who was brutally murdered. Diagnosed with post-traumatic schizophrenia, he is under the constant care of a psychotherapist, who agrees to help him solve the mystery of the woman's death. Even though Wonderwood is respected as a brilliant investigator, no one believes him when he says that since his wife's death he has been able to see ghosts.
