When optimistic Jaye Thomas enters his freshman year of college, he doesn't think anything can go wrong for him; that is until his high school boyfriend ends up breaking his heart. As he cries in the rain like a cheesy drama film, he notices a shooting star coming down to Earth-and heading straight for him. He awakes from the dead to a mysterious but ethereal young man who claims he's from another realm called Zenos. The man grants Jay a wish in return for teaching him mortal ways.
