One person in my neighborhood used to give out handfuls of newstand-edition comic books with their covers ripped off. Another used to give big, elaborate ginger-bread men to the kids she knew. Candy is great, but these are the treats I’ll always remember. And with that we snuff out Jack, turn off the porch light, and bid adieu to Halloween for another year. Thanks for visiting!
