After a brutal storm tears through the sea, a human boy is found washed ashore on a hidden island inhabited by something not quite human... -centaurs. Weak, injured and in dire need of help the human boy called Julian, is brought into the village and into a young healers hands, a centaur named Aren. As vigilance and distrust turns into something else a bond forges. While it turns into something more, forgotten books, buried secrets and a history between humans and centaurs begin to surface.
