In order to defend their home, magical soldiers called Remnants must fight against their corrupted former allies, who have become soul-devouring monsters called Husks. Mila and her friends are among the most Elite of these soldiers, and find themselves at the epicenter of an ancient enemy's attempts to destroy the very essence of humanity. The more they discover, the more they begin to question the intentions of their Progenitor God...and whether their position puts them in the wrong.
