Malik and his sister Yanari grew up as orphans due to the death of their parents just after the two were born. They were taken in by their grandma within a small tribal village in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately soon after, she too passed away and Malik and Yanari were left to fend for themselves once again - although now with the support of the townspeople.
