After his master Hanzo's death, 12-year-old Kentamaru hunts the tyrant Minato Takeda. Desperate, Minato sacrifices his infant son’s body to the demon Chasin for power. Though cheated by the demon, a 25% power boost is enough for Minato to defeat Kentamaru. Minato abandons his "useless" son at sea, but a wounded Kentamaru finds the baby first. He seals the demon Nirvana inside the child before casting him into the waves, setting the stage for a dark tale of vengeance.
