In a world of both humans and monsters, a human orphan named Dakota is kidnapped by an elf, who mistakes her for a powerful witch due to her illusionary magic tricks, and taken to a teenage monster camp training young monsters to join their cause of overthrowing the human race. With her quick-thinking, performer persona, and street-magic tricks, Dakota must play her cards right and pretend to be a monster to prevent her presumably ill fate should she be caught.
