In this world there is two types of species one is human and the other is a human but with animal like features. Alex wants to “buy” two of them to keep them safe and while doing that he ends up falling for his own “pet”. Alex also wants to make it illegal to adopt these “pets” because just because they are different doesn’t mean we should treat them differently.
