Charlotte Avington was discontent with her pampered lifestyle. Her love for the ocean and adventure compelled her to escape her mother's firm grasp on her fate and the suitors after her hand in marriage. Despite stowing away on an infamous pirate's ship, a cocky and shallow suitor by the name of Lancelot Reeves followed her.
